Neil Bousquet, a public relations wizard here in Calgary, is working with me to find media exposure for my new book, Simply Too Much Homework! What Can We Do?
As a result, in the last week I have been interviewed by reporters from The Regina Leader Post, The Toronto Sun and The Calgary Herald. I have also been a guest on a number of radio shows both in Calgary and Montreal.
I will talk about homework on City TV in Calgary at 8:00 am on Monday, October 29th. The Toronto Sun will publish an article on homework on Monday, Oct. 29th as well.
I am speaking at the People for Education conference at York University on Saturday, Nov. 3rd. It is sponsored by the Faculty of Education at York and brings together people from all over Ontario who are interested in educational issues.
On Friday, Nov. 2nd at 2:30 pm I am a guest of The Motts, a talk show on 1010 radio in Toronto. The show will be broadcast live from the Toronto Winter Fair. They want to talk about homework because there will be many school children in attendance. Should be fun!
